On December 10th 2013, UEG SA has increased its capital to 300.000€ and purchased its partner company Deepartis BVBA.
This consolidation brings into a single company their joint expertise in software and hardware for embedded systems. With more personnel, more R&D, more market presence, and new partners, this creates a stronger structure, better positioned to manage the expected expansion of the company in the coming years, bringing new products and services to the market.
UEG changes name and becomes MangoGem !
Mr Vladimir Svoboda has joined UEG as Research and Development engineer and programmer of Embedded & Real-Time Systems.
Vladimir will contribute to HIPPEROS, the new RTOS that UEG develops together with the PARTS Research Center at the ULB.
Vladimir has a Master in Computer Sciences from the Université Libre de Bruxelles finished with "Summa Cum Laude".
Mr Yves Delavignette, CEO of UEG, sees the arrival of Vladimir as an important step in the business developement of the company.
Mr Antonio Paolillo has joined UEG as Director of Technology (DT) for Embedded & Real-Time Systems.
He will be in charge of the development of the OMETRIS Toolset and UBABU embedded software components. He will also contribute to HIPPEROS, the new RTOS that UEG develops together with the PARTS Research Center at the ULB.
Antonio will be active in the european R&D project CRAFTERS, under the umbrella of ARTEMIS. His focus there wil be on modeling techniques and tools.
Antonio has a MA in Computer Science from the ULB and has performed graduate research work at that institution.
Mr Yves Delavignette, CEO of UEG, sees the arrival of Antonio as an important step in the business developement of the company.
The ULB's ORELA web site (Observatoire des Religions et de la Laïcité) has received the Prix Wernaers 2012 du Fonds National de la Recherche Scientifique (FNRS). The FNRS is focused on the promotion of research and dissemination of scientific knowledge in the broadest sense, including cultural aspects.
The ORELA site was created and is currently mantained by UEG's web division MangoGem.
